These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Universal AI Exporter browser extension ("Software") developed and maintained by the Universal AI Exporter team.
1. Description of Software
Universal AI Exporter is a client-side browser extension that allows users to export and format conversations from supported AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini) into Markdown, PDF, and CSV formats directly on the user's local device.
2. Software License & Supporter Model
Free Community Access: All core document generation and export features are free and fully functional.
Lifetime Supporter License: Users may optionally purchase a one-time Lifetime Supporter License via our authorized Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy.
Deliverable: Purchase grants a digital license key that permanently removes community milestone prompts and enables the Lifetime Supporter status badge in the Software.
No Recurring Fees: Lifetime licenses are one-time payments with no mandatory recurring subscriptions or hidden costs.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Universal AI Exporter only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and the terms of service of the respective third-party AI platforms. You may not use the Software to violate intellectual property rights or unlawfully scrape protected content.
4. Payments, Refunds & Merchant of Record
Merchant of Record: Supporter Licenses are sold by Lemon Squeezy, our authorized Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy manages all orders, invoices, currency conversions, and global tax compliance (including EU VAT and US sales tax), and its Buyer Terms apply to your purchase.
Refunds: Because the Software is free to use before purchase and the license key is delivered instantly, Supporter License purchases are normally final and non-refundable. Lemon Squeezy may issue refunds at its own discretion.
Billing Problems: If you are charged twice or see another billing error, use the contact details on your Lemon Squeezy receipt and include your order number.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive to maintain compatibility with changes made by third-party AI web interfaces, we do not warrant that the Software will operate without interruptions or errors.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of or in connection with the Software or the use or other dealings in the Software.
